Microsoft Needs to Pay $ 731 Million Fine for Browser Options
In 2009, Microsoft Windows users in Europe don't have option to choose between browsers like Google's Chrome or Mozilla's Firefox instead Internet Explorer gets automatically installed. That's why Microsoft was fined to pay 860 million euros that time.
After that, Microsoft released Windows 7 Service Pack 1 in February 2011 to fix this issue. But due to sloppy coding and testing this new release failed to trigger alternate browser option when the first system boot up. Which leads 15 million Windows 7 European users forced to install Internet Explorer. Microsoft admitted that failure last year and apolozied for it.
